Bishop Dr. Mable L. Berry - Founder
Women of Excellence Ministries are a part of the New Birth Church of the Living God
P.G.T. Jacksonville, Texas where the founder Bishop Dr. Mable L. Berry is the Co-Pastor.
The ministry began in 1995 when Elder Debra B. Morton inspired Bishop Berry in the
year of 1994 while being a member of the Women of Excellence Ministry of New Orleans,
Louisiana. Our ministry began with six women organizing monthly meetings, weekend
events, and a main event being a yearly conference with all proceeds dedicated to a
woman and family in need. Women of Excellence were the first ministries to have a
women's conference in the city of Tyler, Texas. This became a powerful tool, which
gave opportunity for women of all walks of life to come together in one place,
being on one accord, being able to stirrup their gifts, and become powerful
Women of Excellence through the mighty power of God.
Bishop Berry vision was to bring women in ministry together to encourage,
equip, and empower themselves while going through challenges and struggles
of ministry. WOE also reaches out to women in emergency needs in the local
community through finance, clothing and food. It is our desire that women will
be healed of their broken hearts, delivered from captivity, released from
blindness, liberated from their bruises and freed from the oppression of the
enemy.
Women of Excellence (Praises to God)! has purchased land for the future home
of the Women of Excellence Restoration House for battered women and children,
and has ownership of a 47-passenger motor coach that takes our women for an
excellence ride to conferences, retreats, and other scheduled events.
We would like for women to know and experience the fellowship of Women Of
Excellence and be blessed as God encourages us through each other.
